Baked a batch of Anzac biscuits for the school fundraiser. Made 120 and taste-tested at least 15. Quality control is important.

The farmers market was packed this morning! Grabbed some amazing feijoas and a jar of local honey. The bloke selling smoked fish had a queue around the corner.

School gala this Saturday! Sausage sizzle, cake stall, second-hand books, and the legendary white elephant table. See you there.

The Mrs convinced me to try sourdough. Three failed loaves later, I think I'm getting the hang of it. This one actually rose.

Power went out for 4 hours last night. Played board games by candlelight with the family. Honestly one of the best evenings we've had.

Incredible turnout at the community working bee today. The reserve is looking mint. Amazing what 30 people and a few hours can do.

The main street Christmas lights are up already. It's not even December! But honestly... they do look pretty good at night.
